R Subbarao

25+ Yrs of Experience | Telecom & Software Industry | Leader, Innovator, Mentor

🌱 His Journey

Subbarao began his career as a passionate engineer with a background in Telecommunication and Electronics, driven by a fascination for how technology connects people and transforms lives. Over the next two decades, he went on to work with some of the world’s most respected technology giants, including: Tech Mahindra, EXFO Other leading MNCs in the telecom and software domain

In every role, from engineer to manager, he built a reputation for: Solving complex technical problems, Leading multicultural teams, Delivering mission-critical telecom software solutions, Understanding emerging technologies long before they became mainstream

🔧 What Shaped His Vision

While working with cutting-edge telecom systems, global R&D teams, and next-gen digital solutions, one question kept returning to him:

“Why are our children still learning through old methods in an age of intelligent systems?”

He saw a gap between what industry demands and what students are taught. He saw brilliant young minds limited by outdated educational practices. And he felt a responsibility — backed by experience — to change that.

This conviction gave birth to Padho Sikho Banaao.

🚀 Why He Founded Padho Sikho Banaao

Subbarao believes that the future belongs to Makers not memorisers, Creators not imitators ,Thinkers not followers

With decades of practical industry experience, he realised that real learning happens when children build, experiment, fail, and create again.

Padho Sikho Banaao is his mission to introduce students to practical, future-ready learning in: Robotics, Electronics, AI & Machine Learning, Coding ,STEM innovation, Hands-on problem-solving

✨ Founder’s Message

“The world is changing faster than textbooks can keep up. Our children deserve education that prepares them for the future — not the past. Through Padho Sikho Banaao, I want every child, whether in a big city or a small village, to experience the joy of building something with their own hands and realising that they can create the future.”

Sidhi Saswat Nayak

Co-Founder

Grade 12, UN College Soro, Balasore

🌱 His Vision

As a Co-Founder, he dreams of a platform where every child—whether in a big city or a small village—gets access to STEM education, robotics, AI, and hands-on learning. Not to produce only engineers or scientists, but to produce thinkers, makers, creators.

He wants learning to feel like building a robot, solving a puzzle, discovering how the world works—not like preparing for an exam.

🔥 What Makes Him Different

He brings the voice of a real student into the organisation. He knows the struggles of rote learning and the excitement of practical discovery. He designs ideas that make learning fun, not stressful. He proves that age is not a barrier to innovation—curiosity is enough.

✨ His Message

“I am not just a student; I am a learner for life. If I can build things with simple tools and simple ideas, every child can. Padho Sikho Banaao is my way of telling every student: don’t just read—create. Don’t just study—explore. Don’t just dream—build.
